Well, my immediate family celebrates Yule, or the turning of the Winter Solstice. An acknowledgment of the turning of the wheel; the warrior becoming a sage, etc.

Anyway, we exchange gifts too as part of the festivities.

Some things I received were

- The Indiana Jones Quadrille on collector's DVD*

- A new computer*

- A Sgt. Pepper '09 calendar

- A couple wicked shirts (one says "Cultivate Peace", the other features a Fender 6 string, and the other features the album art from my favorite Led Zeppelin album)

- And a stocking full of candy

Happy Holidays, all.

And my personal favorite, a whip! It's not a super awesome david Morgan whip, it's an 8FT black whip with a wooden handle, pretty nice for a starters whip, I got some really really good teqniques but I have a hard time getting it to crack, I'v already slashed myself across the face with it afew time, But its really fun to use and it feels really nice just rotating it around, its really cool.

My entire family's in another country so, seeing as I was to spend Christmas alone, my boyfriend bought me a hotel room for a couple of nights so I could stay right next to Disneyland (I went on the Indy ride sooooo many times), and my dad gave me some money so I could buy nice food, and cocktails, and new hats.

We went to Switzerland on this Christmas and that was "a gift for the whole family", so I didn't get much: just some clothes and chocolate...

I got:

- Sony Micro Hi-Fi Component System

Movies:
- WALL-E
- American History X
- Scary Movie 3 (got to exchange as I have it already)

- some money

- Global Economic Crisis Survival Kit (probably the best gift I got! ):

It would've been nice if it was Crystal Head Vodka, but hey, free booze! I ain't really complaining!

- Also got a few small trinkets like Hummer brand cologne (made by Elizabeth Arden)
- On the last episode of the Indy Cast I won one of the Uncle Milton Crystal Skull projectors, so that will be a delayed Christmas gift.

Later this week I'll take the gift called "some money" and see if I can find the rest of the ToD wave I'm missing from the Hasbro line. I might also pick-up Dark Knight or Mummy 3 or both.
