No. If I had the money (which I don't), I wouldn't waste it on another piece of **** from Microsuck. I'd buy a Mac.
I need to buy a Mac anyway... for school. This ****ty laptop is just that... a ****ty laptop. Something to tide me over until I can afford a real machine...
...not that that will be any time soon.
Anyways... desktops.
That new one rocks a lot, if I do say so. It's in keeping with the theme I've so far established for my desktop art preference. Vampyros Lesbos was Italian sleaze, and so too is the new one--loosely. Asia Argento... daughter of the legendary Italian horror/sleaze director, Dario Argento.

My desktop used to be Carth Onasi from KOTOR for a long time. But I felt like I needed a change.
carth onasi !?!?! wow. i used to adore KOTOR. i musta beat it 7 times both jedi and sith, though i think i like the second one better.... although that shock of realizing your Revan, that was a good one, it totally blew me away.... and i didn't really like how the second one ended. eh... oh well.
It's the same map from pirates of the Caribbean 3 so you'll probable find it on there site or goggle images when you search it select extra large images.
Where can I find this pic at, that is so AWESOME!!!!
It's a HUGE HUGE file and I got it from the PotC boards. Someone was nice enough to scan it out of an art book they had. If you really want it, I'll email it to you. But again, ye be warned, tis a large file indeed. 3854 KB.

Wondered if anyone would know what I was talking about, hehee. I like the story in the first one better, but I like the controls and the new features of KOTOR2 better. It's nice knowing whether you've already searched a container without needing to look inside it again. In the first one I like to play darkside female, fall in love with Carth and then kill him on the Star Forge.
Here's my current desktop (Rocky Horror) in celebration of Halloween. I have a special Xmas one too which will be revealed in time....
She came to Screamfest in Orlando a couple years ago. I went solely to see her and to attend the midnight showing of RHPS (which she was MCing). It was the first time I had ever been to a midnight show! I'd only ever seen RHPS on the small screen at home. Next week will be my 4th live RHPS experience. A couple weeks ago, my college put on a production of Richard O'Brien's original stage show. It makes the movie look rated "G."
A new one... I don't typically change my desktop this often, but I just saw this film a few hours ago. Les Bonnes Femmes by Claude Chabrol. It's incredible--really moving stuff. And I can't get my mind off it. So... I found this lovely still from the film and here it is:
That is one of my favorite films. Our theme for prom was "As Time Goes By," so I had all my friends watch it with me, and they didn't like it. I was very disappointed.
But it was a great prom. They had Casablanca playing on a giant screen, and Rick's Cafe Americain set up in another corner. I had a great time.
Always irks me when people say, "Play it again, Sam."
That line is never in the movie.
As far as Bogey goes, I'm more of a Maltese Falcon person I think. I just love all of those snappy comebacks.
That also drives me crazy!
As far as Bogey's film noirs go, though, I think I enjoy The Big Sleep more, although I know that The Maltese Falcon is a far superior film. The only thing that really bothers me about The Maltese Falcon is that Mary Astor's character, Brigitte O'Shauggessy, is supposed to be a "knockout," as the secretary describes her, and to be honest, Astor is rather plain looking. Not ugly, but not quite "knockout" material. I think perhaps a different actress, and I would love it. Just one of those little things that bothers me.
I said she's not an actress... well she's not. Though she did direct one short film and star in it. And get this... it's a musical. Madonna was at least to that degree on the right track.
