His response was perfect. Indeed, they better get used to it.

It's a sad and pathetic world that can't get past the colour of a person's skin, let alone imagine that there was Stormtrooper recruitment by Episode IV; see that none of the unmasked Imperials were clones, or that Luke wasn't too short for a Stormtrooper.

One helluva reaction to the trailer.

I was let down, I'd hoped he'd give his honest reaction. (yeah, I'm familiar with him from RLM's Half in the Bag series) But it amounts in the end to a negative caricature of anyone that loved the trailer. Sigh.

You'd be just as down on this if he had joined the "haters", no matter how genuine the response. Whatever floats your boat...

Wish I had recorded my reaction...winced a bit at ball droid, had a genuine bemoaned "goddammit" in response to the lightsaber, and then a long sigh for shaky-cam Falcon. But I didn't record it, and it was negative...so that's double bully for me, right?

 The one thing worse than people being killjoys for passionate, positive fans of something...is people negatively-stereotyping the fans' love for the thing. It's basically saying they're idiots for caring so much.

Question to all on here: who got emotional at the first trailer for Crystal Skull? Wouldn't you feel annoyed if some guy like Rich Evans made a video acting like you're affection for the character is a psychotic sexually-deviant pastime? And it is clear from the other videos of RLM, the creators of the channel have a deeply snide, mocking opinion of happy fandoms, so I don't think I'm just being an over-sensitive baby here.

If it helps, I don't really care if you disliked the teaser, featofstrength. Far as I can tell, you're not deliberately flaunting that opinion like a supposedly-impractical cross-saber to sadistically cut down those who liked it, like some of the jackasses I've encountered on the internet lately.

I'm not going to outright make fun of these fans. But it goes both ways. There are some fans just as quickly dismissed as "fanboys" and "haters" that actually care a great deal for these movies behind all the criticisms (read by some: complaining). We all want the best...and sorry, I'm one of those that just doesn't see it in this teaser.

There's love...and then there's gross violation of an astromech droid.

For that alone he should be sent to the spice mines of Kessel.

And count himself lucky that the poor little bugger didn't go off prematurely as they have a tendency to do when excited.

Amazing how this poster predicted two things accurately; lens flare, and pornstar Leia. :hat:

Not everyone will be able to answer because there's one person here who has "no memory of watching any trailers for it".

In answer to your question, NO because:
1) I have no idea who the guy or LMR is (and don't want to know).
2) He's probably a major douchebag.
3) Stuff like that doesn't bother me.

If you're annoyed so easily, don't watch the videos. I haven't bothered with the ones posted above because it's easy to tell exactly what they are. People who film themselves watching something on their computers are LO-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-OSERS! Big ones! Don't be an even bigger loser by paying attention to them and, even worse, getting bent over what they say.

Nah, the lenses aren't the same shape. Her costume reminds me of the early designs for Luke Starkiller, which is probably intentional:

True about recruiting. In addition to your points, the scene with Biggs on Tatooine has him talking about being drafted from a commercial ship into the Imperial Star Fleet. Plus, the 1981 "Star Wars Radio Drama" even starts off with Luke (voiced by Hamill, himself) playing an Imperial Space Academy recruitment tape. The Empire was clearly not using only clones by that time so anyone upset over a black stormtrooper is obviously a dunce when it comes to classic Star Wars lore.

Well put, although a ricasso grip would get a finger cut off! Stephen Colbert did a fun explanation for the lightsabre the other night. (Who knew he was one of the 1st people to see "Star Wars"…2 weeks before it premiered?)

That's all sorts of close minded. Sounds like a typical "Any Star Wars is Good Star Wars" fan.

They used to push for the Empire being so evil that they didnt even allow women, minorities, or aliens into the service based on prejudice alone. Then the clone crap came in...appealing to the Maori demographic and people who like Boba Fett...arrrgh...Thanks again, George for making Star Wars and then making it a complete mess.

It doesn't matter which nerd talks it up prettier...the criticism is still based in this: it's sad to live in a world that has become so bored with something as simple as a laser coming out of a flashlight...

Well, that ain't me because I don't have any of the novels & comics from the '90s onwards and stopped buying the toys in 1982 (and they're all packed away in storage). It's just that I have zero interest in watching some pale, fat guy watching something on his computer. You can see from the video's preview image that he has Star Wars toys on his shelf and is wearing a Star Wars T-shirt, yet he is supposedly making fun of it? Total reject as far as I'm concerned.

The idea of stormtroopers being cloned has been around since before even "Empire" began production. There was an article about it in an issue of "Star Wars Monthly" from 1978 so I was fully expecting it when the prequels came around.

Lightsabres & Jedis aren't why I like the series. I hate the new design but am certainly not in a flap over it (same goes for the volleyball droid).

Some people have a sense of humor about the things they love. Most SW fans don't...but they like to pretend they do:

thousands upon thousands more, but none as bad as:

official ****ing product...who are the rejects here?

Indeed…but filming yourself watching something on your computer automatically spells L-O-S-E-R, no matter what the subject is. That's an incontestable fact.:D

Now back to the actual movie:
I won't be surprised if Ford, Fisher & Hamill have relatively minor roles. Anyone expecting them to be the focus could possibly be in store for a letdown.
