Temple of Doom in Lancaster, Pa.

Hi Everyone-here in Lancaster, Pa at Penn Cinemas on Airport Road they are going to show Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom on Monday October 24th. They are going to contact Paramount to see if they can get Raiders and make it a double feature but at this time that hasn't happened yet.
I went to their showing of Raiders last year and it was one of only three times their Monday Night classics had sold out. It was great to see. Hopefully it will happen again.

ALFF Program - Raiders of the Lost Ark

Held in Whitehorse, Canada's largest feature film festival north of 60 is a feast of contemporary Canadian and International cinema that takes place in the heart of winter.

One of the definitive action-adventure films of the modern era, Raiders is the first film in the Indiana Jones franchise. It pits Indiana, in Harrison Ford?s career defining role, against the Nazis, who search for the Ark of the Covenant (the biblical chest built by the Israelites to contain the fragments of the Ten Commandments), because Adolf Hitler believes it will make their army invincible. His quest takes him around the world into endless fantastic and life-threatening archaeological and political situations.

Hey Rocket. I have noticed the amount of showtimes for these movies has dropped off substantially lately. Is that common this time of year?

It would make sense, as many of them are outdoors screenings. Possibly a couple of them occur at theaters primarily used for stage productions but that put up a screen for the few weeks (often in August) between theatrical seasons.

Good point. I didn't think of it because I ignore those screenings. I went to one a few summers back and the outside screening did not provide the experience I was looking for. Thanks
