I had also forgotten that the figures hadn't come out until 1982, and was completely unaware of the carded Belloq in ceremonial robes.

I have vague memories of playing the Atari 2600 video game, but hadn't thought about that for years.

I was in Germany when the Indy toys came out, so all I knew about was what was in the Sear and JC Penny Christmas catalogs. I didn't even know there was a second wave of figures, or the truck, horse, and map room/streets of cairo sets until many years after.

I also missed out on a lot of vintage toy commercials, as we went to England after Germany. I love watching them on You Tube.
