Time-travel possibilities for Dr. Jones...

I think time travel would ruin the movie, unless it was done veeeery carefully. One of the best things about the movies (and archaeology in general) is the mystery. Indy wasn't there 5000 years ago, he doesn't know what happened, so he has to play the detective and use his wits to follow clues. Going back to when everything was taking place would just sort of ruin it. I wouldn't mind a Macguffin that can control time, but not a whole "going back in time" plot.

I have thought about this possibility and I can say that if all goes well (can't say too much) this idea will be used in a very anticipated upcoming fanfilm that one of our fellow raveners (not me) is making
