The plot of KOTCS as foretold by "The Final Sacrifice"

An orphaned boy is raised by his aunt, but remains curious about the fate of his father. He sets out to learn more and subsequently eludes an evil cult by teaming up with a drifter and a strange bearded man who lives like a hermit.
It turns out, the hermit was an old ally of the boy's father. He reveals that it was the leader of the evil cult who destroyed the boy's father. After learning that the leader believes in an ancient religion and has a plan to conquer worlds, the boy leaves to defeat him. He is ultimately saved by the drifter's timely aid, and together the two join forces to stop the evil cult.
You know, it does sound eerily similar to a Lucasfilm production.

Sounds more like ToD to me with the boy being Shortie (minus the aunt thing).
