If we were going to back and do some Indiana Jones films between 1930-1947, some interesting choices would be:

Jake Gyllenhaal

Hugh Jackman (my personal favorite if we were to replace Harrison)

Nathan Fillion (who is another great choice)

My goodness, I could not disagree with your choices more. I'd rather see a Mutt Williams movie before have one of them take over the role of Indy.

And no, I don't have any of my own suggestions to add because I suck like that. Well, wait -- I've posted this before but I think Ed Quinn wouldn't be too horrible. He reminds me of Ford, in a way. It's a shame he's a bloody giant, standing at a whooping 6'6".

obviously a young harrison.

but having seen KOTCS and shia's performance, i'd actually like to see a spin-off Mutt Williams film.

I think there should be some weird time/space continuum and have Flanery or Joel Gretsch do something, IF they insist on continuing. Though I did enjoy Mutt in the movie and wouldn't mind seeing the character in something again.

I'll say young Harrison. There is nothing wrong with current Harrison (though I haven't seen KOTCS yet) and Shia doesn't sound completely awful to me. And there has been posted some good other choices as well, so...

Here's Joel Gretsch, by the way...He was in Spielberg's 'Taken'. In fact, I totally thought he could have been in this movie;).

Only Harrison could be THE Indiana Jones. Shia could be "Son of Indiana Jones" or maybe "Indiana Jones Jr.", but not THE Indiana Jones

But, just for sake of discussion, I think Jeff Bridges might have been okay way back when. He's always been a good actor that has never been a star. He certainly would have been better then Tom Selleck, who was the first choice.

I definitely agree. :whip:

too add alternate point. Josh Holloway would be added to the list.

Harisson Ford in Raiders was the Best. There can't be an Indiana Jones without Raiders, he's the most important thing in it!

i second Hugh Jackman, i mean of course i picked young Harrison but if the time comes to do something where Indy was even younger than the past movies then Hugh Jackman it is in my book.

Glad I'm not the only guy who thought Hugh Jackman when I saw this thread. He's a really good actor, and he has that ruggedness look that Indy has.
