Never Noticed...
I never noticed that the snake moved! My theory is that the Thugee were using the snake as a periscope and were watching Indy through the eyes.

Temple of doom "the cobra moves"
Guys, quick question, don't know if this has been said before, but I was watching it the other day, and I noticed that when Indy takes the Stones from the skull altar , and he grabs in hat , then the cobra moves towards the camera, like it turns for no reason! Anybody seen this?? I know I'm not crazy cause it is there! go and check your dvd now! hehe!
Any idea why they did this? I don't think that's a mistake......

It's very possible that the movement was connected to the deleted scene. (In the other threads, a popular speculation is that the snake was an alarm or spying periscope/camera device.)HenryJunior said:
