Blockbuster exclusive

Could a fellow Ravener from the States help me out by buying/sending me an OfficialPix photo from Blockbuster?? They don't sell them here in Canada (apparently our Blockbuster and your Blockbuster are totally different companies)

I'd, of course, pay for the item AND shipping ... and a little something extra for your trouble.

***Mods: Feel free to delete if this breaks any rules***

Has anybody picked this photo up yet? What does it look like?

What Blockbuster exclusive is this? (If it's a spoiler photo from the new movie, please don't post an image or description of it; just let me know that it's a photo from the new movie or whatever...) How big is this picture, how much does it cost, what's the edition size, etc.?

I may have to find this myself, though perhaps ideally after the movie...

Well, I don't know about that. I was actually in a Blockbuster here Friday, and didn't see any Indy merchandise anywhere, photos or otherwise (and I was looking, though I wasn't specifically looking for photos; I definitely would've seen them if they'd been there, I'm sure).

How much do these things cost?

(I probably shouldn't ask, seeing as I decided to spend the money for their limited-edition Temple of Doom 11" x 14" in the online store, so presumably I already deemed such photos "worth it"...)

I'm trying to find that out, but I would assume $20-$40... just like the awesome Temple limited photo.

Picked up 2 of the 4. Indy on the crates and Indy and Mutt entering the temple. Couldn't justify paying $12 for a photo of Shia LaBeef. :p

The only thing I don't like is that they are not 11x14 like the Temple of Doom photo. They are matted 8x10's. That kind of sucks. I don't like mattes.

The Temple of Doom exclusive is awesome and a must-have. Get one if you can because there's only like 250 of them and it's one of the best classic Indy photos you'll ever see.

Hey Spalko, could you provide links or pics of the four photos?

I know the crates one you're talking about... and desperately wanted to get my hands on the signed 11X14, but lost it due to daylight savings time (and Saskatchewan's lack thereof). It kinda sucks they're only 8X10, but I'll take what I can get I guess...

Off topic: I have 138/250 of the Temple limited. I freaked when I saw that... cause 138 is kind of "my number"

THX 1138, The Misfits - We are 138... etc

I've ordered the Temple limited, along with the original lobby card set, and a bunch of other stuff - including stuff which won't ship for a while, and I didn't split my order, so I don't have any of it yet. It's nice to hear the Temple photo satisfies. It certainly looks like a great shot, and I was thinking it'd go nicely with the lobby cards.

From the sounds of it, those are non-spoileriffic KotCS photos in the Blockbuster exclusives, so it sounds as though I can safely try to find them. Am I right?

And if anyone knows how much they are and can let the rest of us know, I'm sure we'd all appreciate it... :)

Rebelscum.com has some pics up of the photos.

I just couldn't justify paying $60 for all 4 of them so I settled on the 2 best Indy photos. They also has some hats that looked pretty cheap and some kind of a calendar and gift card. I didn't see the glasses but they had the Temple of Doom movie poster framed reproduction for $30.

I went to BB yesterday and was told that none of their Indy stuff was going to be put out until the 7th. Anyone else being told this?

Depends which one you go to. One told me Tuesday and another the employees were clueless about it. I had to tell them what they would be selling. They went in the back and several minutes later brought the stuff out. I'm always amazed at how clueless retail employees are about their own products. Don't they have meetings or send out company memos?

I ran into my local Blockbuster Friday, and looked around to find nothing. I asked the manager and he took me to the stock room where I had my choice of stuff and I "helped him unpack", i.e. he let me rip boxes open to see what there was. I saw the 4 photos, fedoras, baseball caps, gift cards, resin DVD cases which look like a crate or steamer trunk with the hat and whip hanging on the corner (I THINK, I only took a quick glance) I didn't see any glasses, but he said they had them. He told me he'll put it all out Tuesday. It sounded like he had ALL KINDS of stuff coming in so, here's hopin'.

Hmmm, I don't see any merchandise page at Blockbuster's online site. I thought they would have had a small Suncoasty merchandise section.

Man, I hate Blockbuster and dread walking back into one, but I also really love those/glasses/tumblers I saw in the other thread.

Yeah, Blockbuster has to start whoring out the merchandise like Suncoast now just to generate revenue.

Well, they're not doing a good job of it. They could have had my money already if they whored properly enough online.....(n)

Of course, after seeing how Blockbuster has operated over the past few years, including getting *****slapped by Netflix, it doesn't surprise me in the least when they fail to take my money....
