Why All The Hate On TOD?

i see nothing wrong with the movie.
it is the second act in which everything goes to hell
so the reason its dark only makes sense
wonderful action,awesome villain
i place it second in my favorite indy films
im just not understanding why everybody doesnt like it

Well, I like it.

I never knew there was a lot of hate for it until I signed up here sometime last year.

everyones entitled to their opinion,i just cant see why alot of people didnt like TOD

No hate here. It's my second favorite after Raiders.

Because the world is unfair.

I too think it's second best. Crusade and Skull are tied for distant third places; Crusade because of the cheesy humor and Skull because of how strong it starts then turns into a confusing mess.

Doom as a movie holds itself together and moves along at a good pace. Of course there are things that could be much better, but there's nothing horrible in it like a doddering old Marcus Brody or that miserable Oxley.

Raiders is in a league of it's own though. Completely different level compared to the rest.
