Angola/uganda!!!

Let me clarify that this is not official news, but something interesting I have found on IMDB.

film pages on IMDB lists all (or most) the languages used in a movie. for example, raiders is listed as:

Hebrew / English / German / French / Spanish / Nepali / Arabic

with the exception of perhaps hovitos, all of them are covered.
Now let me direct you to the indy 4 page, the languages it lists are:

English / Hebrew / Nyaneka

English - duh
Hebrew - not uncommon, although this could be a clue that we MAY be headed for jeruselum (remember the title 'city of gods', and everyone was like "It's jeruselum!")
Nyanaa - this is unusual, onyl 1 other film in imdb's database has this language. I did a quick search:

the above says it's a langauge of Angola

wikipedia seems to indicate that it is in Uganda

This might just mean that Indy will be headed somewhere in africa, I can't say for sure where though. Perhaps this is the opening scene leaked or a vital local in the quest? Time will tell

here is a map of africa, note that Angola and Uganda are separated by vast DR of Congo. If someone can do more research on this language, that would be apppreciated. (some of us have finals for 2 weeks - ouch)




also let me note that IMDB has listed Ray Winstone as a cast member of indy 4. Who the hail is that?

I like to read IMBD.
Even if everything is not "official" or right.
But we can found some interesting things like that language

Hell they have Shia LaBeouf AND Cate Blanchett credited ABOVE Ford in the cast listings...?!?

Israel? Angola? Hmmm. Could it be Indy is after King Solomon's mines? That would just be a tad too derivative, but Alan Quartermain was the model for Indiana Jones, and Solomon was the king of Israel, who legend has, it hid the Ark of the Covenant in the first place.

His gold and jewel-filled mine was said to be in Africa, traditionally in the area near the land of Sheba, in what is now Ethiopia, where he had befriended and maybe romanced the local queen.

Well, maybe the film turns out to be Indiana Jones and the African Queen

Seriously speaking, Africa would be a cool place for Indy to go. I mean of course the Africa south of Sahara, not Egypt.

Maybe all pre-release statements about Indiana Jones 4, its plot, its title, its cast and any meaningfull information beyond Lucas just stating like a broken record "we are still working on the script and negotiating with Connery" will be published in Nyaneka, perhaps an ancient form of Nyaneka to make it even more secretive.
