How would you compare it to the wested shirt?

I'm not too sure on that. I've never acually seen a Wested shirt in person. But based on pictures, I'd say Todd's ranks right up there with Wested, Todd's is a damn good shirt, and if you have an eye for detail like mine, you'll notice it's acurate to the last stitch, and that's what I was aiming for. I still recomend it to anyone, I think its a wonderful shirt. (y)

Indy's Alden Boots! SCREEN ACCURACY WANTED!

What is the best SCREEN ACCURATE pair of Indy boots that anyone knows of? I seem to recall some raveners discussing some that were around $300 I think, but I found some really really nice boots on Todd's site that are only $74.95, but if I can find cheaper ones I'll go with that, but I want screen accurate boots. :gun:

I bought the Alden Indy boots and they are excellent even though they are expensive, more so now for Australians because of the exchange rate. They look good, feel great and will last a life time of rugged wear. I had the tongues stitched on one side as they fell to the outside side of each shoe, so a very minor problem was easily fixed. I took them to a medical shoe cobbler and he said the Aldens were medical shoe standard. He commented on their weight and they are heavy,so much so that they give you big calves just by walking around in them. They are a large make of shoe so maybe order shoes in half a size smaller than what you buy here. I had my feet measured by the same medical shoe guy just to make sure of the American sizes. I'd say go for these if you can afford them. I've never had a pair of leather shoes that I was totally comfortable with, but the Aldens have given me that at last.

I also like to mention that previously I had bought a bullwhip from Aussie whip maker and liked it a great deal, but it wasn't quite right. So I splashed out on a David Morgan 12ft bullwhip. It cost me a bit over a grand - ouch! - but it was worth it. It is made so superbly. The plaiting is tight as a drum, the handle is heavily weighted and nice and short for coiling on the belt. It came with a kit of spare crackers, spare fall and a tub of leather dressing. I wish I had got it sooner.

Yeah, I know, but I'm not married, have no kids, have no mortgage and earn good money. All that could change so I'm buying up now.

I really like mine. They tend to run a little small, though. About 2 sizes too small. I'm sure Todd will be getting some larger boots in and re-labeling the sizes soon.

I dont think it's undersized at all, and the snaps work perfectly fine for me, and I didnt even need th einstructions to get the strap on, but Iv done that before... Overall I'm very plaesed and pleased to put in a good word for Todd. :whip:

I have owned a wested for about three years now, and I can honestly say that it is a superbly crafted jacket, and worth every penny! I have the raiders jacket made from predistressed cowhide. I think that if you are looking for an accurate screen replica you have to spend the cash. I am shopping around for a fedora now...and am leaning towards penman's. They look great and are reasonably affordable.

Thinking about getting Wested Pants, testimonies or pics?

I'm thinking about ordering a pair of wested pants, anyone who has these, how good are they? Are they a lighter kaki color or more of the darker kaki/brown that you see in LC/KOTCS? How long does shipping take also? :whip:

I got two pairs of the wested pants. One pair wasn't enough. They are great. They are made of wool and are comfortable in summer or winter. They are a great cut and fit perfectly as long as you order the right size - waist and inside leg. They are more of a slightly dark tan colour. They are now an essential part of my wardrobe. Shipping to Australia took over a month, I think, but not much longer. Go for a pair. The more items you buy from wested at the one time the bigger the discount. Then again, you look young and might outgrow your clothes. The wested gear is not really cheap but its quality is unquestionable.

East Texas? Well, I live in Eastern Australia, but we don't call it that as there's three states on the eastern side here. I'd be guessing how long it will take for your order to get to you. When you send in your order, there is an inquiry section you can fill out with any and all questions. Gemma is the lady who usually communicates with the customers and she is extremely nice and helpful. She will give you an answer if she can. Cheers.
