The Old Indiana Jones Chronicles

I just uploaded Part 1 of "The Old Indiana Jones Chronicles" which is
my compilation of all the bookends in their original broadcast order.
If you're longing to hear the opening theme and see the credits once
again, here's the place. Plus, I added a bumper with George Hall's voice.

This one is the often seen, "Curse of the Jackal", but the others will
soon follow. Enjoy!

Oh, I will, Stoo, I will! To see those make you look forward to the new movie even more. The next ones should be London and British East Africa then. Really looking forward to see them, especially Africa.

I second that. The Old Indy stuff is like a treasure that Lucas buried, waiting to be dug up.

Unfortunately, they're not included on the DVDs...
Why do you find it "uncomfortable" to watch? I'm curious.

Some of the acting, mainly the kids. It had such an over the top history is cool element, whilst before it was so much more subtle.

In the original series when they were played on TV, when was this shown, right at the end? Cos I have seen the last ep on TV ages ago, and don't remember this.

Arrow Part 2

Just uploaded the second part. It's a triple-header with London, British East Africa
and Verdun. (Due to some file corruption problems, the Verdun closing is a bit of a
rush job but I can't waste any more time fiddling around. Sorry!)

Anyway, enjoy...

Part 1 is from the very first episode, "Curse of the Jackal", which was 2 hours.
What you are seeing is the beginning, middle and ending segments all compiled
together.

A few episodes didn't have the "bookends", so perhaps you saw one of those.

So, all these bookends are cut out of the original episodes on DVD?

In this page, it says there was an introduction at every episode.

Also, the cut in the beginning of part 2 is annoying, lol, what happens.

In general, yes, that is true but there are some exceptions. As brilliant and full-blooded
as the webpage is, that particular bit of info is, technically, incorrect.

That's how it starts. The only thing before that was a black screen titled, "London May 1916".

I thought only the USA TV movies that aired from 94 to 96 lacked bookends. And technically, they aren't part of the series proper.

These don't have any:

Phantom Train of Doom
Istanbul
Paris 1919

and 2 of the non-U.S. ones:

Prague
Palestine

I wonder if any were ever written/filmed for these and then got dropped...

No, I meant there are little jerks throughout the film, where bits are missing.

NonStop, you're certainly living up to your name!

If you mean the dissolves from one scene to the next that is because only
the parts with George Hall's narration are included (since they are not
commercially available). If you want to know what happens in between,
you'll have to wait until the DVDs go on sale in the U.K.!

However, if you mean "jerks" or glitches while watching it then that must be
a YouTube playback issue. I find that if you do get a glitch, just rewind a tad
and it will play the part again smoothly.
