Alghtough not a theatre showtime - all 3 original Indy movies are being shown back to back on Sky Movies here in the UK, before the premiere of KOTCS later this evening.
MENLO AQUATIC CENTER'S competition pool, Fifth Street and Arthur Avenue, Perkasie, will be open Sunday for the showing of the movie, ''Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark.'' The show starts at 8:30 p.m. or sundown. All other pools are closed. Participants can float or sit on lawn furniture. Kansas State Historical Society is showing movies again outdoors after dark.
The Sundown Film Festival, which features movies projected outside on a screen attached to the side of one of the buildings at the Kansas Museum of History and State Archives & Library at 6425 S.W. 6th.
The series, with a movie shown after dark for four consecutive Fridays through Aug. 7, is presented in conjunction with the museum’s current exhibit, “Lincoln in Kansas.” Admission is free.
Those attending the movie can spread their blankets or set up their lawn chairs in the grassy plaza north of the museum then visit it at no cost from 5 to 9 p.m. Concessions, including pop corn and soft drinks, are sold until 30 minutes after the movie starts, and proceeds from those sales offset the cost of the series.
Bug spray is recommended, and if it rains, the event movies inside the museum where the film will be projected on a wall in the lobby.
All of the movies in this summer’s Sundown Film Festival are related to history, museums or archeology.
• Aug. 7: “Raiders of the Lost Ark” (1981, PG). IArcheologist and university professor Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford), in this franchise-launching movie, must retrieve the Ark of the Covenant before it gets into the hands of Adolf Hitler who plans on using its power to guarantee his global conquest.

Wednesday Outdoor Movie: Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, 2008, rated PG-12, runs 122 minutes. 8:30 p.m. at Steppingstone Park. Rain date Aug. 19.
Famous archaeologists are in the spotlight during Utah State University’s Museum of Anthropology and its “Saturdays at the Museum” series. The theme of the Aug. 22 activity is “Famous Anthropologists through Time.” Activities include movies based on the popular dramatization of archaeologists and their finds and take place 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Two presentations will occur during the day. The first begins at 11 a.m. and covers the history of important male archaeologists, followed by a free showing of the movie “Indiana Jones: and the Last Crusade.”
ALLENTOWN AND THE WEST PARK CIVIC ASSOCIATION will present Dinner and a Movie on Saturday at West Park, 16th and Linden streets. The movie ''Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull'' will begin at dusk. Before the movie, Maison Blanc, of 1214 Gordon St., will offer dinner at 7 p.m. Dinner will be $5.50 to $8.50 and a la carte pricing will be available.
