I've always thought keeping it simple is fine.
Adventure STILL has a name...
Don't know why, but I think it has a nice ring to it, and acknowledges that even though he's older, he's still got what it takes to thrill us.

You want adventure? You know the name.
I'd like it to open with Indy finally retrieving the golden idol and putting it in museum before the main plot starts.
Maybe with a daring escape with a "throw me the idol" followed with Indy pulling his gun and saying "Throw me the whip or I throw you a bullet!"
I want to see the tough guy Indy for this last flick.
Pastiche over, start the movie.
