I wasn't sure which one to post this in... but anyway...
Staying spoiler free doesn't seem to be too hard considering the amount of info that leaks out about this film. It's a trickle. No, not even really as steady as a trickle. More like a leaky faucet where that drop of water just hangs on forever before it finally drops, and then it's just this tiny little splash.
All we've really gotten that isn't official, as far as I've seen, is just those couple of set photos and the "possible" set photos of the Mayan temple and what not. But nothing as "spoiler ready" as I was expecting this far into production.
During the Star Wars prequels, it was hard NOT to learn about the entire plot of the movie and avoid images of scenes being filmed, etc. I realize Indy isn't on the same page as far as fandom goes but still, for a project as big as this security is doing a very good job of keeping that stuff a secret.
... I mean, we know next to nothing so far. And even though I said I want to be spoiler free, and this is making it easy, lol... it's KILLING me!! I need at least one un-official photo of Indy in gear during filming... or official ... I'll take whatever I can get right now!
Well there are pics of Ford in costume both official and unofficial. I'd like to see more though. I'd like to see anything at this point.
That's what I meant. I actually hadn't seen the video until today (I overlooked it) of the Marshall college filming scenes with Marcus' painting (though I heard about it)... so it's like I just got a new video! lol.
The shot of him in the jacket with Shia was badass. I'm feeling more and more like they're getting the "tone" of this film right, so it won't seem so different from the others even though there's that pesky gap between LC and whatever we wind up abbreviating this one as.

when he was sitting next to Shia in the jungle? If thats what your talking about then yah its exciting and looks like its gonna be good and it kind of reminded me of Raiders opening sequence .(thats the feeling I got)

That's the one I'm talking about, Harry looks a lot better when they are filming then he does at any other time (even in the comic con video), I think it's the makeup.
Anyway, he looked AWESOME in the leather jacket and it reminded me of Raiders beginning too!
But don't get the idea of Harrisons look in the film from specially selected 'one second shots' we became in small and compressed videos. In a two hours long feature he will show part of his age no matter how much make up they can use.
But I agree that age doesnt matter, HE is still Indiana Jones.
Spoilers? very few, they let us all the work. 90% of what we are talking about would be crap when the movie hits the theaters. And I'm happy with that
Today I was just reflecting on what a marvellous experience have been to watch the first time Last Crusade at the cinema. My dad brought me there, I knew we were going to see the last Indiana Jones movie, but I didn't knew nothing about the plot... blank, empty... no ideas in my mind.
And I can tell it has been a great discovery entering step by step in the story, guided by the hand of Spielberg through the main tracks of the road leading to the Grail.
Now, after 18 years, I feel even more excited when I think that in a few months (less than a year, guys!!!) I'll be going to see the (real) last Indiana Jones movie, once again.
Even I cannot resist to read about spoilers and taste every single photo (official or not) that slips out the sets or the studios, I cannot stop either asking me if it would be more exciting and surprising not to know nothing about the plot. What do you think about that?
So far I've read every spoiler and seen every photo, and I still feel the film has a lot of secrets that it probably will keep that way until May – because Spielberg, Lucas & co. surely aren't going to change their secretive policies. And as hungry as I am for information about anything Indy IV, I'm kind of thankful for that at the same time. I know a couple of set photos aren't enough to spoil the film completely. There still remains too many loose ends to connect.
I'm thinking about the Star Wars prequels, in which case it really was possible to spoil yourself completely. I know I did that.
It will be very interesting to see what the teaser trailer will be like. Considering the production thus far, it won't show us much. But at least we'll get a glimpse of new Indy footage, and that is really the main point. And I bet Lucasfilm knows this very well.
I kept telling myself I'd stay spoiler free, but I've looked at most of it myself. But I can honestly say that most of it is generic stuff I've been expecting. I know nothing really about the plot. All I know really is the general idea most people have been talking about forever...
But really, I am kind of thankful myself. I may stay away from further spoilers.

Truth... I go on the Spoilers forum but to be honest there isn't much difference in knowledge between those who choose to and those who don't. The spoilers are merely speculation and rumours. I don't believe it's really spoiling because there isn't full truth in what is being said, so I just enjoy the speculation and rumours. It keeps me interested. Besides the videos on the OS are the true spoilers.
