Paul Thomas Anderson movies are like mini events... like Kubrick's films used to be... highly anticipated by the film community. I can only think of a few others who command that pedigree nowadays. People have been describing this film as a "fever dream". I'm sold.

Bumping to inquire whether kongisking saw this, due to Miss Adams's presence, and to say that Argo winning an award for which the Master wasn't even nominated has been my favorite Oscar travesty for two hundred and sixty-one days now.
