Ok, so i was watching ToD, right, and i was looking at the part where he puts the stone up to the others, and it starts to glow, then he takes all the stones and put them in his bag, but they don't glow... Why wouldnt they glow in his bag? I cant figure this out... Do any of you guys have ideas?
The novel describes them only glowing when close together, and that they were all glowing in his bag before he closed it. Yeah confusing continuity in the film...
If I had to come up with an excuse, I'd say they have to be in that triangular arrangement, not just close to each other. Dumped into his bag they don't glow. Set in the skull, they form the perfect triangle.
Here's something, we hear there are two other stones making five. So if only three together can glow together we could assume only two would glow as well. Then take it even further, what happens when all five get together? A world dominating power not unlike the ark that could of allowed Mola Ram to take over the world?
His little speech about taking over the world is starting to sound scarier now!

If all five got together, they'd probably all combine into one crystal alien Sankara stone, and then everything would start spinning, and then a worm hold kind of thing would open while someone's eyes fried out, and then a spaceship would shoot off into the space between spaces. Then one of the characters would have to explain what happened, because otherwise you'd just be sitting there thinking, "What the heck was that?"
