I knew something felt off about the poster! I've been a huge fan of Struzan's work since I was a little kid, and I've always been inspired by it as an artist. For this very reason I was a bit disappointed by what looked to be photoshop work, creeping into his traditional hand painted style! Well, now there's some evidence to support my suspicion. The poster is nice, but after looking at it throughout the day, I'm still not crazy about it! His TOD poster set the standard way too high imo, and it would be pretty tough to match it.sandiegojones said:Well, I didn't post that at CHUD (I never go there) but I used to live and work in Pasadena and Drew was a customer of mine. If you go to his website and send an email he WILL respond too. He always does. When the ROTS poster came out he confirmed that Lucasfilm took art from 2 posters he made and combined them to make one poster. That's why Anakin looks funny on that poster. It's the same issue I have with this. The large image of Indy's face doesn't seem to fit the composition of the rest of the poster because it was likely for another piece of art.
On another note, does anyone know who the artist was for the TOD teaser poster(Indy in the archway)? Was it Roger Kastel?
