What kind of enviroment do you think blood would stand out or look grossest in?

In you guys's opinion what kind of climatic-enviroment do you guys think blood would look grossest in or would stand out the most in? 1.Desert? 2.Jungle? 3.Arctic? 4.Forest? 5.Ocean? {E.G. like in an action or horror-movie?}
which of those 5 reasons & you're reasons why?

I always had an image in my head to use in a short-story that involves a pool of blood on the dried desert sands. Slowly the sun dries it and the thirsty sand drinks it, and all that's left is a black stain upon the bleached landscape.

Dripping out of the downspout of a rain-gutter onto bare dirt on a sunny day.

Snow would stand out the best, when i went skiing you'd see patches of snow covered in it.

According to Alice Cooper "Blood drops look like roses on white lace..."
