I finally broke down and bought Cairo Indy from the Hasbro line. Of all the figures from the line, that was the one I decided to skip, but since the well has almost completely dryed-up by now, I finally got it.

I went to Zellers today and picked up the last Uncle Milton Crystal Skull Projector. I got it with some birthday money from yesterday. The skull makes a great display piece along with the 12" Hasbro Ark. Zellers still had a few of the Uncle Milton Booby Trap sets. Bugs me though, I don't have any C batteries at home so I won't be able to try it out until tomorrow. I was also hoping to get the RC Ant at some point but they no longer had those.

It's funny, back in January, I had won the skull projector on the Indycast, but it never arrived in the mail. Must've got lost in the space between spaces.:p

Got the Temple of Doom Lego set for my birthday this past Monday--great set. The play functions are really well-conceived and well-integrated, and the constructed set is full of nice little details that really flesh out the area--the lanterns are a nice touch, as well as the "hidden" crate of gems and mining tools, not to mention the lego Sankara stones. There have been some complaints about it not being accurate to the movie version of the temple, i.e. not having a lava pit underneath the altar, but I think that what they did come up with was pretty much the perfect way to translate the Temple Altar and Mine Cart scenes into one kid-friendly set. I would have gone nuts for this thing when I was a kid, and I pretty much am now as an adult. ;) It's a bit pricey at $90, but it is a great bang for the buck--way better, in my opinion, than the similarly priced Akator Temple from the KOTCS wave. Glad I got it as a gift instead of dropping the cash myself though.

Also, tonight I picked up the Chauchilla Cemetary Battle set at Walmart. Haven't built it yet, but I will post a little blurb about it when I do. :)

I received the Disney Indiana Jones 10th Anniversary Framed Pin Set today.
I tried to take a picture, but was getting too much glare.

That was the stock picture. I did manage to get a picture on my own with just a little glare.

Wow, ROB, that is one crazy & unique piece!:) (Welcome to The Raven, by the way.:hat:)

I found this in south Italy last week. (SISA Supermercato in Scilla, Calabria). There were about 10 boxes and they were all dated from last year but I bought one anyway and they were still delicious (after all this time)! Will have to make an update in this thread: Indiana Jones ICE-CREAM

NestleGelatiBox.jpg

Also, the shopping mall in Gioia Tauro, Calabria had it's share of Indy toys: 2 foamy whips with sound effects, 5-6 desert chase trucks, *1* troop car and many figures (Russian Soldier, Spalko, Mutt w/snake, Indy w/Chachapoyan idol + altar, etc...) I didn't buy any but they are there if any S.Italian fans are looking for them (because I saw NONE in Italy last summer).

P.S. In Raven history, this thread could very well be the all-time record breaker for # of replies. (metalinvader, are you still out there? You started it!)

I can't believe you ate that even though it was dated last year. If it said anything else you wouldn't have eaten it!
