The Silver Earring is a new 3D point and click adventure game by the Digital Jesters. You'll play Sherlock Homes and Dr. Watson in 1897 in London. The Demo is already out, and the game is supposed to be released in a few weeks.

Looks rather interesting. I haven't played a Sherlock Holmes game since The Case of the Serrated Scalpal all those years ago. I recently found the disk again, but I'm having the hardest time getting the thing to work in XP.

Maybe it's my 56K.

The game looks like it could be a cool adventure game, a Gabrielknight3-like. It's not really 3D though, it's pre-rendered.

Well I have a 1024/512 ADSL. It's 18 times faster than yours. So what takes five seconds to load on my computer, takes 1½ minutes on your computer. I'll read the interviews first and then decide if I'll buy this game. You better not try downloading that demo, it's 334 MB :p.

I've always enjoyed the sherlock holmes games...they made you use your brain. I liked the old ones better than the new ones thought
