Rock of Ages

I thought that, other than Indy, this movie is the best
musical (actually, the only one I can put up with). It
was a masterpiece and Tom Cruise excelled at his part of a
rock god. Alec Baldwin+Russel Brand were a hilarious duo
Lastly I loved the music in the movie. Def Leppard, Foriegner
Journey. All great!

This was one of the most enjoyable times at the theater I've ever had. I love 80's rock, so the soundtrack was phenomenal IMO. And the covers were spectacularly done, and I usually hate covers, so that's a big compliment.

As for Tom Cruise as Stacee Jax?

Go Stacee Jaxx! (y) He, I thought, did the best of all the characters.
What did you think of "Hey man"?
:D

A monkey slapping hot ladies' asses? How could I not love him? :p

I thought this was so awful that it was funny. (n)

Topped off by Tom Cruise singing to a ladies ass was the funniest moment I think.

I actually went in to this thinking there was going to be some kind of story holding it all together, maybe following the dreams of the girl, similar to Coyote Ugly I guess. But there isnt really one to hang the songs on to I thought.

yeah, i wasnt around during the eighties, but i wish i was ;) and because of that i didnt really understand some of the sarcastic and pop culture references/jokes. I only know is that movie motivated me to start guitar and bass playing, and ive been at it a year and a half now!! \m/
