Hey there. I'm David, aka Thundermug. I've been coming to this forum on and off for about six years and finally decided to join.
In 2004 I dressed as Indy for a Halloween party, mostly because I had much of the costume laying around the house. Granted, most of it was "close-enough". The rest was laughable at best.
Since then I have been looking for better props. The last few years I mostly forgot about it. This summer I visited a gun shop while on vacation in Delaware (don't ask) and saw a Webley .38 for $275. My interest in all things Indy was renewed. Just last week I found a brown fedora for $10.
Now I'm on the lookout for a holster, and a few other things. Here's the hat:
