Today my father and I saw George Lucas on AMC in a documentary called Movies That Shook The World and it explained how American Graffiti shifted George Lucas into the hearts and minds of people and led him to become the powerful filmmaker he is today. It show how American Graffiti open the way for Star Wars. And the narrator called Star Wars "biggest" and most "powerful movie franchise in history". Now that's saying a lot.
