Not technically a movie but this still seemed the best forum for this. I had a chance to ride this a couple of times on my trip to Orlando last week. It wasn't what I expected after the hype but it was a good attraction. Set in the 30's with many of the classic creatures of Skull Island portrayed. The ride is heavily dependent on 3-D movies (like almost everything else at Universal) but there were some nice practical effects too, including Kong.
It interested me enough to look for tie-ins. This is independent of both the new movie, Peter Jackson's movie, and the new comic book series. All the same idea but not the same exact stories.
