There's no point in killing this thread, because unfortunately that won't be enough to kill the franchise.

Bla don't want to see a third darn movie the 2nd movie was like you were watching a porn movie. I hate the dang man who did the Transformers movie series they ought to kick him in a jail and keep him locked in it forever. Why can't someone make a good movie without you feeling bad for watching IT!

It would be COOL if Lucas could do Transformers it would rocket the world and it would kick that guy who did Transformers in the behind and put fire to his pants.

Only porblem is if Lucas did it, it would end up with crappy dialogue and wooden acting.

Heck it wouldn't be making you feel bad from coming from the movies and making you want to see porn if Lucas did the movie now would it?

Drifter I'm not over reacting i just want people to make this world a better place for us and our children, if you care enough for the living.

I wouldn't mind for one, considering it's the only genre where bad dialogue and lotsa wood is, in fact, the norm...

I'm not mad at the movie, I'm unhappy Bay did a terrible job with Transformers, and i wish someone els would make the next Transformers and not Michael Bay, that is all I'm saying.

Who should make it, then?

WHy does this remind me of how people bash upon something that isn't out?

If Lucas directed the next TF movie, we'd have CGI Gophers, CGI Dogs humping and so on.

Shia promises TF3 will be better, basically apologizes for TF2...

Shia LaBeouf told The Associated Press that Transformers 3 "brings the heart back to the franchise." He starts working on the third installment on Tuesday.

The new script restores a human element that got lost in the second movie, LaBeouf said. "When I saw the second movie, I wasn't impressed with what we did," LaBeouf said at the Cannes Film Festival. "There were some really wild stunts in it, but the heart was gone."

I like Transformers but the issue with these films IS the "human element"! We can see teenage human drama in Twilight or other crap films. Transformers is about robots. The design and some of the robot characters have been done well but I want to see Megatron and Starscream bicker like the old show and we need a real Optimus vs Megatron battle. Shia should die and Megan Fox should be gone too. The only human plot that's interesting is the military angle. The issue is that the robots don't have depth.

Totally agree. The scenes with Mom running around the college were pure torture. Give us epic Optimus/Megatron action! The only part of TFII that truly worked was the fight in the forest. THAT is what we want, Mr. Bay. Not obnoxious sexual innuendo and hyperactive sidekicks who talk at Mach 10 speed (yes, I'm talking about the roomate in ROTF. Hated his guts.)

And it's really refreshing hearing Shia express remorse for that film. Shows that he is a lot more intelligent than the haters think he is.

They also didn't need another villain in ROTF. It seemed like The Fallen was just thrown in and was intended to kind of be like the Emperor in Return of the Jedi. All of the sudden there was a badder guy thrown in who was in control but all he ended up doing was waisting screen time for the villains we love and ended up being too thin because the rest of the film was so long.

I can tolerate ROTF for the most part (minus several human scenes) but feel that the first film was pretty solid. The twins weren't even the issue with the sequel. There was too much story but not enough plot. I don't really know why Shia and the other were needed after what happened in the first film. Again it was the human stuff that bogged the movie down. Every time the story would get going we had to have the college moments or conspiracy stuff and then Agent Simmonds and Jetfire completely divert the film (even though I like Turturro). They could have had the same overall plot using just the military without having to jump from Shanghai to the US to the moons of Saturn to Paris to Jordan and finally Egypt.
