brian williams is a very cool guy and I have met him in real life last year at a convention
I even got to see his famous indiana jones display

Been messing with Lego. Nothing grand.
Made a Mercedes staff car to join the desert convoy:
Made some adjustments to a standard convoy truck:
Widened a troop car to a two-seater, and lengthend it a little:
Swapped some Star Wars Rebel Trooper heads and hands with the Toy Sory Army Men, to make Dovchenko's disguised team:

I really dislike the yellow heads now. Flesh faces are the way forward - I just need more of them.

If Lego Indy is ever in need of public transport, the Emerald Night (inspired by the Flying Scotsman) will provide the basis for a great vignette:
