It had a lot of Raiders of the Lost Ark/Indy references.
The four guys were sitting at Leonard's and Sheldon's apartment watching Raiders and talking about how an archaeologist could learn to use a whip so well. They were all excited to go see a screening of Raiders in the theater with 21 seconds of additional footage later that night. Sheldon is explaining to everyone about how the same person designed Indy's fedora that designed Michael Jackson's red and black jacket in Thriller.
Fast forward to later that night (after taking too much time at dinner), they arrive at the theater to see a long line of people waiting to get in (many dressed as Indy). As you might expect, they get right to the front of the line before getting told the theater is full (after passing some Raiders posters).
So they sneak into the theater (after a reference to Short Round), and Sheldon steals the film reels so that no one can watch the movie if they can't. At the end, the guys are being chased down the street by all the angry movie goers (Raiders March playing in background), and Sheldon mentions how there's never a waiting platoon plane when you need one.
