Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Well seeing as the movie comes out in less than a year, I'd thought I'd set up one of these for discussion. As far as I know nothing big has been revealed other than the the Fallen is the villain, Sam is at college studying astronomy (under Rainn Wilson no doubt!), Lennox and his military buds have a special task force alongside the Autobots, and there will be lots of explosions (but then again, these may be the first of Michael Bay's lies, except the last one cause thats a given).

Teaser is rumored to premiere before Eagle Eye, so let the speculation begin!

Hasn't LaBeouf's accident delayed matters slightly? Isn't his injury being written in to avoid more lost time?

Yeah, something like that. In the mean time I heard they had to push up more scenes w/ Josh Duhmel.

There's been much speculation of late on the gleaming silver "Corvette-like" concept car spotted on the set of the new Transformers movie. Some outlets have incorrectly asserted the concept is a potential design for a next-generation C7 Corvette. They're wrong. Oh, it's a Corvette, but our well-placed sources tell us the concept, which we've revealed in an exclusive shot of the clay concept above, is GM's Corvette Centennial Design Concept. We expect to see it revealed early next year, months before it debuts on the silver screen in Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen.

This movie shot some scenes in Philly, my friend worked security in a warehouse they made up to look like somewhere in China, I believe he may have said Shanghai or Hong Kong. Lucky bastard got to see Megan Fox a few days.

I just saw the first one on HBO this weekend and was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. Loved how Shia's car was trying to get him laid.

Transformers writer Robert Orci has been logging in to a Transformers fan board, answering some questions about the upcoming sequel, Revenge of the Fallen. He reveals that we will be seeing a trailer by the end of the year, probably around November, which is when he says the promotional aspect begins in earnest.

Beaks: And the Blu-ray is only going to stoke more anticipation for TRANSFORMERS 2, which is shooting right now. Have you had the opportunity to visit the set, see any footage or chat with Michael Bay?

Cullen: I've had one work day with Michael. We did the opening. But I didn't have the opportunity to see any real footage - until I was leaving. I hate to use the word over and over "knocked out", but I was stopped in my tracks. "Whoa! Can I see that again!?!?" It's going to be huge.

Beaks: Just when you thought they couldn't top the spectacle of the first movie?

Cullen: No question. He's excited, too. Bay is really excited. He's animated. He's such a creative guy and a perfectionist. He's got a high energy level that's really cool.

I don't like it, and its not the pink, its that as a bike, it looks way too light and fragile to compete with a Tank or a Construction Vehicle in combat.

Why does it remind me of the Terminatrix? The eyes?
