Ayrun is the name of a character in the story I'm momentarily writing.

hmmm, in all this time I never heard that about Aaron H, strange

anywho, there have been several people to change their names:
DrJones 56 - jones1899
Tequilerous - Tiger Wolf
indy's trading post - Indy A
and a few others, but I don't remember what they were called befor

and then of corse, there are those who had multiple usernames, but that's another story alltogether

How people started to call me Finn... well, that's one story no one's going to buy at the first time, so I won't bother to go in detail. All I can say is that it involves an Irish exchange student and a crate of Finnish beer.

Why does that not surprise me?

Why, you don't want to get into that 00Kevin?

Oh, Westford, why don't you finish that story? I'm anxious to see what she's like.

Yes, 00Kevin, I was looking back, and Aaron H said:
"Funny that Earlier in this Table "(and here he accidently said someone else)" gloated about having a better
board..." To which the operator of Indy-Web.com, (or something like that), was saying:
..."Sorry, that "The Raider" person really throws me off..."

"TheRaider" was, and still is, my name. When I became a mod, Gilles thought it would simplify things if I changed it to my real name...so I did.

If you think keeping up with one Jones is exciting, try keeping up with two of them!

Harrison Ford dons his rumpled fedora for the third time as Indiana Jones, and Sean Connery joins the thrill-a-minute fun as Indy's feisty dad. Filmmakers Steven Spielberg and George Lucas make sure this father-son duo never lack for adventure. The Joneses set out to find the mystically-empowered Holy Grail - and encounter so many spectacular pursuits and narrow escapes that Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade is more than the culmination of Indy's exploits. It's "the greatest adventure in film history"
From the back of my Last Crusade VHS Box.

Aha. Thank you Aaron. It's great to have insight into the past, and still know we are moving on into the future.

As my sig says, "gee thanks!:*)" The real hero here is Gilles and his tireless efforts for keeping TRN together.

She was actually a he... His first name was Jones - I'd been watching Raiders and was briefly inspired to write something. I dunno, Jones Westford just seemed like a cool name. Also, it gave rise to lines of dialogue such as:

"So Jones, what do your friends call you?"
"Jones."
"OK, so what's your first name?"
"Jones."
"Riiight..."

He was a man of few words...

Fun Thread!
I don't post on boards to much. I'm more of a watcher. I like meeting other Fanatics though. Mine "MADMovies" means "Me And Dad Movies" My kids and I like making little movies. We really like making Fan Films. We have made James bond, Star Wars, Tinkerbell. We live in Minnesota and all of the Grandparents live in the south so we send them videos. The movies make the video more interesting than just watching us sitting around opening christmas presents they sent and stuff like that. OK I'm babbling. We should finish "Indiana Jones and the Crystal Cave" soon

LOL
We too plan to use legos. We are making a miniature of a Crystal Palace with Clear Legos. Not sure if we will use it or not though. We don't want it to look like legos.

Indypunk10,

What should a punk-grown-old like myself be listening to?

Broomhandle Davis

"Broomhandle" as in 1896 Broomhandle Mauser. Winston Churchill's weapon of choice.

"Davis" as in Richard Harding Davis the turn of the century writer/adventurer. Indiana Jones if he'd been real would have read about him.

SCOTS! Cramps...any of the older stuff still relates I think ..more so called "punks" should be listening to some jello rants instead of green day misfits or whatever..(shows my age but how bout Rage Against The Machine, pop then, but would not be accepted now..mainstream..heck I'd love a little green day compared to the crud thats on the radio now..(paranioa.. I think I am on a CIA list for anti-americanism) Punks never grow old..there are plenty of things in this world to have agnst over.. young/old alike.
Lemme alone ..I just had a birthday a few days ago, so any mention of "old" and a reference to my younger years..and I'm drunk...makes me want to post stupid off-topic replies! hee hee..don't ya just love these drunk middle of the night posts that you regret tomorrow?

Eh..get used to em'..more to come...

INDY IS A PUNK! against the grain kinda guy..and thats one reason why I love him!!!
