They do know it's made up. right? :D

Apparently, they think people will go to the cinema and: "be sure that in 1957 we made trouble for the United States and almost started a nuclear war."

What nonces.

hey the destroyer of worlds was MY line! lol

anyways, I love it how the soviet union gets so involved in a 75% fictional story (25% because of 50's era style diner, clothing, etc)

I also don't understand why in one of their press releases, they say "why would talented actors want to trigger another cold war" or something like that. Is that a threat?

I find that pretty narrow minded and stupid to say that to the U.S.A. and Indiana Jones (Fictional character)

Its like: "The soviet Union declares war on Indiana Jones!"

5 years later...

Soviet Union: "We can't find this guy, its like he doesn't even exist!"

Meh, even though I like Communism, the fact that it alluded to Russians, not communism as a whole (the USSR of that period were evil, and to be honest, it wasn't real communism, there never has been), it mentioned McCarthyism, and that the Indy films aren't meant to be historically accurate, it doesn't matter to me.

The only thing that I do think is wrong is if people who come out the cinema thinking that communism is evil, or heck even left-wing thinking is, as that is what 'red' is.

The term has its origins in the notion that pink is a lighter shade of red, the color associated with communism

It is hard to define anyways what socialism actually is, but generally it is a watered down version of communism.
