What is your single LEAST favourite scene from the trilogy?

Exposition scenes/elephant rides in ToD. Boring, uninteresting, slapstick, in need of editing...The only scenes in the trilogy I fast forward.

I think they are nice little scenes. And again, I'd personally watch any scenes even if I dislike them than fast forward, to me it just totally breaks the movie apart fasting forwarding.

The Willie Indy scene from Temple of Doom "I'm a scientist."

I have to go with this too.

"Maybe you could be my palace slave."
"You wear your jewels to bed, princess?"
"Yeah... and nothing else. Shock you?"
"Nothing shocks me. I'm a scientist."
"So as a scientist, you do a lot of research?"
"Always."
"And what sort of research would you do on me?"
"Nocturnal activities."
"You mean like what sort of cream I put on at night... what position I like to sleep in...?"
"Mating customs."
"Love rituals?"
"Primitive... Sexual... Practices..."
"So you're an authority in that area?"
"Years of research..."

Ugh. It's like something out of a bad porno.

My absolutely least favorite part in the whole series was how in The Last Crusade they changed Marcus into an almost senile moron when compared to his far more intellectual portrayal in Raiders. I just couldn't picture him going from the man who would have gone after the Ark if only he were younger, to the man who gets lost in his own museum and can barely ride a horse.

He does still have serious scenes where he comes across educated. It is only when he is "on the field" does he become comical really.

For me, it's the scene where Willie falls off the elephant and into the water. Although I really don't skip it.

Yeah that was definitely a shame!! It's just one of many reasons that makes LC an inferior sequel! Unfortunately from TOD on they all have their weaknesses!

Realised a bit I cringe at out of the originals! In Raiders of the Lost Ark, when the captain tells one of his men on the boat to look again for Indy, and the guy replies "I've found him" "where?" "there!" - and he points right over the water to the sub, to a hardly visible Indiana Jones, before he is out of the water.

That's one of my favorite Indy moments in the entire series.

Ha, it makes me cringe! Wouldn't have if there was a chance he would have noticed Indy in the slightest though, but he responds so quick before Indy is even out the water.

My least favorite scene has got to be the sacrifice to Kali in the Temple of Doom. Just a little too much on the horror side for an adventure film, in my opinion.

Watch the UK version instead and you will have a flawless trilogy to enjoy for yourself ;)

Dude, that scene, along with the mine car chase and the rope bridge scene, is the main reason to watch TOD!

Wrong. The real reason everyone watches TOD is to hear and see "I've burnt my finger and I've cracked a nail!".;)

afte they crash the plane in LC and run away to the beach. i'm so bored whenever i watch it. Only the end scene and the catacombs are the good scenes of LC.

So you don't enjoy any of the Grail Temple scene with the 3 tasks, and the false grail task?
