Taken from the BBC...
Kill Bill and Kung Fu star David Carradine has been found dead in a Bangkok hotel room.

Thai police told the BBC the 72-year-old was found by a hotel maid sitting in a wardrobe with a rope around his neck and body on Thursday morning.

The US star was in Thailand filming his latest film Stretch, according to his personal manager Chuck Binder.

Mr Binder said the news was "shocking", adding: "He was full of life, always wanting to work... a great person."

Carradine was part of an acting dynasty which included his father, John Carradine, and brothers Bruce, Keith and Robert.

The star was best known for his role as Kwai Chang Caine in the 1970s TV series Kung Fu, which spawned sequels in the '80s and '90s.

After a career which included more than 100 movies with directors such as Martin Scorsese and Ingmar Bergman, he recently found fame again thanks to his role in Quentin Tarantino's 2003 film Kill Bill.

He is survived by his wife, Annie Bierman, and four children.

Very sad - some sources are saying suicide, while other are saying it was a natural death.

R.I.P Snake Charmer...

I still can't get over this news. :(

Carradine never seemed the suicidal type, although he clearly has fought off the demons of addiction over the years, so who knows.

All that is certain is that a great actor will be missed.

I think I'll pop in Circle of Iron tonight in remembrance. :(

If it was old age, a heart attack, or something else, but hanging himself? What a way to kill Bill. That sucks :( . RIP David.

This Blows! I had the opportunity to meet and play cards with both Keith and David many times. He was an amazing person! Probably the funniest human I will ever met. He had great stories, and really loved to tell them.

Very sad news. What's worse is that it's suicide. He will be missed.

Gives Kill Bill an eerie quality now.

I never figured David Carradine for a suicider. I don't buy it..something just seems off to me about the whole story. I think there is alot more to this one than the Bangkok investigators are letting on.

But for now, Rest in Piece Mr. Carradine, thank you for the memories.

Whoa... This sheds new light on the matter...

"Rumours Carradine died attempting auto-erotic asphyxiation"
"A rope was attached to his neck and also to his *****".

David, David, David... He should've known that stuff was dangerous at his age. Heck, that stuff's dangerous, period!

Also, was someone with him at the time (and if so where is she) or does the 'auto-' in auto-erotic asphyxiation imply he was by himself?

This case stinks, guys...
