I've been hearing about this one for a while, but it's been in theater/DVD limbo for a good year or so. The trailer looks pretty sweet, although I can pretty much tell you everything that will happen, and who the main baddie is!

I thought it was four separate stories...but if they converge, COOL!(y)

Is it? I need to look it up now, because I thought it was one story/one film. 4 stories would be very cool though!

I saw it yesterday. It was a pretty good film had a few twists that would put the Twilight Zone to shame.

The Principal was very disturbing though he made Freddy K look like a boyscout

Don't spoil anything! But apparently
...kids die as in children.

Yeah that definalty does happen and to be honest I found it disturbing.

Just saw it...wasn't all that disturbing.

All in all it has lots of good ideas, some good effects, (some crap effects), some elements of Creepshow, Stand by Me, (which I don't think I was SUPPOSED to laugh at).

I wish they hadn't
unmasked Samhain, he was more terrifying beforethe reveal.

Prolly Time to Post this now:

The Fable of Samu’l Hain

I spin a yarn of Samu’l Hain
that ghastly wraith who rides again;
forewarn you now, you must not dither
should he decide to beckon ‘Hither’.

Carried West on Irish winds
from the callows he descends;
riding on his tattie bogle
and wails his knell ‘neath the glottal.

This banshee wears a recluse smear
a spiders coat that drapes austere;
it hides an fheoil of na páistí
(or children’s blood, to you and me).

Then you hear his haunting pipes
assembled from domestic tripe;
cacophony of chanter n’ drone
blown on empty femur bone.

With hollow turnips in his eyes
a claret glow will hypnotize;
for once he has you in his gaze
Samu’l Hain will not delay.

He opens up his oral sheath
with pomegranate seed stained teeth;
he tongues your name upon his lips
from deep inside his black eclipse.

Intestines knot inside your gut
Your skin falls off with onion smut;
raisined eyes roll from your head
philtered by a single thread.

Then Samu’l Hain, Hell’s Luaidreamán
escapes with tattie bogles bane;
to pinch more nomads in the night
who trick-or-treat in sheer delight.

So heed this warning lass and lad
this harvester will make you mad;
for once you hear of Samu’l Hain
you’ll plead to all, “Don’t say my name!”

How awesome is that? I read it and all I could envision was a stone fireplace, a soft voice, some wide eyed children and a kettle screaming in the middle of it all. Very cool thanks for sharing...
