I know without a doubt that everyone here is an Indy fan through and through, but I can only hope that your interest and fascination with Indiana Jones generalizes to the field of archaeology itself as well.

That said, the AIA (Archaeological Institute of America) is the non-profit organization that regulates the archaeological endeavors of both field and academic people within this realm of study. They are always doing whatever it takes to support the study and pursuit of archaeology, but like all non-profit orgs they need support from people like us. I don't work for the AIA, but I respect what they do and want to support them in their efforts. These guys are the reason people like us are never starved for adventure.

I'm including links to the AIA website (http://www.archaeological.org/) and Archaeology magazine's website (http://www.archaeology.org/), as well as the subscription site for the mag (http://www.archaeology.org/subscribe/index.html). I can personally attest to the phenomenal essays, pictures, and action-packed stories in this mag.

These people hold the world of archaeology on their shoulders, but they need our support. Please consider visiting these sites and even supporting the AIA through membership or mag subscription (at an exceptional subscription rate). Trust me.

P.S. If anyone here already subscribes or has membership, please let others know how rewarding it is!
