Ghostbusters III

Ivan The Possible...?

“I’ve never ruled [directing it] out,” Reitman told MTV News. “I certainly was responsible in every capacity for the first two movies so I certainly wouldn’t wander away from the third one—especially if it’s something we all think is worth doing.”

Ah... That's good news!

I sure hope he does it... The film won't be the same without Ivan.

A preview of Ghostbusters 3? A pic of Ernie Hudson and Harold Ramis at the premier of Year One:

I hope Harold shaves the beard for the 3rd movie.

Ernie Hudson, man...
That guy's incredible. He hasn't changed one bit since Ghostbusters II and that was twenty years ago!

He also gives his thoughts on the last Indiana Jones. You know, the Ramis's last movie wasn't exactly the best either.

Why do people keep assuming that just because someone is old they aren't able to do incredible things. I'm sick and tired of all my old heroes being kicked out to make room for a bunch of younger untalented hacks with no personality. Dear me, we live in sad times. I'm especially disappointed in Dan, doesn't he realize that there are still film lovers and Ghostbusters fans who still love them.

As a BIG Ghostbusters fan too I can't wait for this movie but yet still I'm leery as well, the Ghostbusters video game was beyond awesome and was done very well but the 3rd movie with younger Ghostbusters kinda worries me where this script might be going..I just hope the "REAL" Ghostbusters have alot of screen time still.

Just something funny I drew since this is a Ghostbusters thread..

Poke Busters..LOL...

Yeah, they still kick ass without new recruits, I was hoping for one last film just with them and end it like a trilogy but probably they gonna ruin GBIII by adding a lot of recruits so they can make more Ghostbusters films.

The more I think (and hear) about this, the more I fear they will screw this up completely. I don't want younger ghostbusters, a revamped ecto or newly designed protonblasters in a new GB movie. Please Mr. Aykroyd, if you end up making this, make it good.

This talk about "passing the torch" and the fact that the writers from 'The Office' and 'Year One' are penning the script instead of Ramis and Aykroyd - who wrote the first two Ghostbuster movies (and the videogame)............it raises red flags.

Ghostbusters 2 was already rather poor so I don't think this movie would "ruin the franchise" or anything.

Apart from Bill Murray in the first half of the film, excellent stuff.

Does Ghostbusters II match the first Ghostbusters? Probably not.

But I think Ghostbusters II was a good sequel.......the humor and style is much in the same vein as the first film. I certainly enjoy seeing the characters back again.

"Well you're not gonna get a green card with that attitude pal."

I agree, the terrible sequel has already been introduced into this franchise. Let's roll.

Dangnammit...
How come Murray hasn't seen the script while the others have? Wouldn't he be the first one to get it since he's, well... the most... um... y'know...

Ow maaaan...

Is Bill Murray on board? If not, please don't make the movie.

Bill said he's in if the script's good. But he hasn't seen a script yet.

Can't blame the guy for wanting to make a good movie.

But after Ghostbusters 2, Garfield 1 and 2, I think he should just DO it.

It seems unlikely they will get a script to Murray's liking, because he seems to really expect something spectacular, and I just don't think he's gonna get it.

Dan Aykroyd Now Uncertain About "Ghostbusters 3"

Recently Bill Murray mentioned his uncertainty about the franchise, but it seems Dan Aykroyd is now in the same position.
During a recent signing appearance for his father's book, ""A History of Ghosts," Dan Aykroyd released a statement about the rumors of "Ghostbusters 3" pushing towards production.

"Obviously its all talk until I have the following: B117B3X9, that's a production number. When I see the production number, then I'll know I'm in the picture business again. But I don't have the production number tonight," he said.

Everyone wants the film to move forward of course but the process seems to be stuck in a slow pace towards production.

"We a have a script, but no production number and until we have the green light, we can't stick the pipe up into the mega-corporation and draw the honey."

Weaver: Such A Temptress...

"I might be in it; I see nothing wrong with being in it, although I donít think I will have a big part. I think Bill Murray has a little more to do with it - heís a ghost."
