Action hero offspring

I'm not accusing the Indy franchise of unoriginality, in fact I think a daughter bucks the trend and is a necessary addition for the character and box office. What recent or upcoming movies did I forget to mention?

Rocky has had a son for two movies already. And he enjoyed a HUGE growthspurt in between parts four and five.

How did I forget the biggest Crusade ripoff of all?

i don't think jones sr. is the action hero whose offspring indy is supposed to be.

Jack Ryan 5 or John Clark 1: (in the books, they're fathers.)
Matrix 2: Neo & "The Kid"

I guess I was looking for action sequel offspring since 2000. In some cases, these characters have been painted into a corner and need help. Or they're too old and pathetic to be alone. Other times, it's good for the movie and franchise. Just wanted to probe what people have in mind when they hear "Indy & daughter."

Die Hard 4 appears to feature McClaine rescuing his daughter, reminiscent of True Lies. Though I think his son is in it too. At least he was in an early script...
