Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

So, if anyone hasn't heard, a Harry Potter spinoff series is being created from a book set in the same universe as Harry, it's built around the character Newt Scamander in his attempts to catalogue... you guessed it, fantastic beasts.

Set before HP, and with JK herself writing the screenplay, this could be a very interesting spinoff movie series with another original plot with plenty of imagination.

A trilogy set in 1926, 1927 and 1932 made nearly $2 billion and really failed to stir interest around here.

If they want to make a couple more, maybe they should jump ahead to when the thiryish characters have, you know, school age kids?

By the way, the book and Quidditch Through the Ages became great audiobooks a few years ago, with sound effects and bonus content.
