There are many great films that could go here but The Lord of the Rings trilogy comes to my mind. I also think the three Indy films could qualify to some degree too.

i think it's funny that somebody who seems to know just movies that are box office tops, makes a thread about exceptional movies. i haven't seen a single one of these. perhaps you might want to replace "inspiration" by "boxing" and your thread makes a little more sense, hm?

Yeah, I just saw the movie last week. It was very well acted and inspiring. It brought a little mist to me eyes too.

I'm adding my own, since I play basketball and am a huge b-ball fan, I'm saying "Coach Carter." Great movie.
