Though it's weird, your list states Skull is your least favorite of the four, yet alot of your list goes in favor of Raiders and Skull more than the others.

Yeah for me, seeing Raiders during its initial theatre run back in the day, no other Indy film will ever supplant it as my favourite. It's by far the best Indy film, and not just that, but also one of the best movies ever.
Temple of Doom comes second because of its frenetic pace, energy and its relatively dark tone.

Crusade and Skull keep shifting places with eachother in my tetralogy list, but will always be 3rd and 4th.



Will figure out the other categories later.

i think skull has more good scenes -- yet all the good scenes... i dunno... the movie was less than the sum of its good parts... yet you'd think it'd be great cuz of how many great scenes their are... ...it's kinda odd lol...

I know what you mean

Maybe you aren't totally comfortable w/ the new Indy yet, or maybe it's just that you think TOD and LC are just better made? Or maybe you think that Skull has bad scenes that cancel the good ones out?

I sometimes think that Skull will be tied w/ Crusade someday for me.

I probably watch Raiders and Skull more often than any others. I have no idea why b/c Skull is my 3rd fave.

Sometimes Crusade can be a little bland. But it's still kick ass.

I'm on the same exact page, but replace Raiders w/ Temple of Doom. For some reason, I find Raiders and LC to be a tiny bit bland, despite their kickassedness.

1.) Walking through the jungle at the beginning of Raiders. I love the way we're first introduced to Indy and the entire sequence is just so well done.
2.) The dance number and fight in ToD. It's pure fun and has a different feel from the other films.
3.) I love the warehouse scene in KOTCS, especially the chase. It's classic Indy and moves along at an incredible pace.
4.) Young Indy and the train chase. It's a great look into Indy's past and I love the part where he gets his fedora for the first time.

Favorite Ending in order:

1.) The opening of the Ark is just epic. Enough said.
2.) Escaping the mines and the battle on the bridge is a close second. It's pure pulp and I love every minute of it.
3.) The traps and retrieval of the Grail is really touching and watching Indy and Henry become reunited is a great way to end the film.
4.) I didn't mind the alien angle in the new film and overall it works pretty well. It's a bit out there but still pretty cool, especially the great shot of the UFO taking off.
