Nice placing....remember: US forum, not many yanks know what birds are, we just 'em bond girls

bonds:
-connery
-brosnan
-moore
-lazenby
-dalton
(nothing against any of them, they were all good, they all had their goods and bads, I can watch any bond and say that they play the part well, few other men in the world could make bonds half as good as them)

films:
-goldfinger
-TSWLM
-OHMSS
-TWINE
-thunderball

girls:
-tracy
-electra
-tatiana (SP?)
-honey
-armasova

TND-Who wouldn't like to control their own car from the backseat? I also think TND mixes in the Bond theme quite well.

GoldenEye-I agree, and I believe it is Brosnan's best, and I'll second that, the music does lose the 00 flavour.

Back to TWINE-However, I enjoy TWINE's precredits song the most, I believe it was Garbage(no pun).

[Edited by swords on 06-09-2003 at 11:48 pm]

yes, indeed, garbage did preform the song

as for TND:

not a bad movie.....but the theme song RUINED IT

terrible theme song.....bloody slow-mo junk: what ruined both TND and DAD

both had good stories, great scores and smashing action scene...but the theme songs and slow-mo threw the films off corse....

YOU'VE GATTA BE KIDDING ME!!!!!

"Surrender" was swell, but Sherly Crow's (SP????) song was terrible

rivals Modanna in the "Worst bond theme" race....

Yes, the Goldfinger theme is problably the best.

Another one I like is the Live and Let Die song, by Paul McCarthy. But I hate the Beatles...

I've seen DAD, TWinE, TND, parts of Goldeneye, and no Sean Connery ones (want to!).
but I just saw this thread when it was popular, and came back to look at it.
My favorite is TWINE, and TND and DAD is a tie, and I can't really say anything about Goldeneye since I didn't see the whole thing.

But a question. Which Bond movie has Allison Doody in it?

A View to a Kill. The last 007 with Moore in it.

Thank you Finn,
By the way: It seems like it was only about a week ago when you were a moderator, did I miss a thread about this, or do I not understand something? Your tag says Indyfan. Just wondering.

A week? It's more like two months from the last time I was a mod, my friend. I'd love to see the calendar you live with!

And why? Did they threaten to cut off my head, my hands, or was it... it was a misunderstanding.

Well, I don't really keep up with days and dates, I just make sure I know what I have to do, and then go ahead, and don't worry about time. After all, time flies when you're talking to Indyfans

Oh, another thing I was wondering: some of the first posts on the bar (Looking back several years), I noticed a frequent poster was finnjones. Was that you, or a sound-alike?

Yeah, that was me. But since I was called simply as "Finn", I cut off the rest of the nick in order to save myself another two seconds when logging in...
