There's been much controversy over the South Park episode that has Indiana getting raped by Steven and George. But what I'm interested in, is what message was it playing out.

Some believe it was:

A.) Poking fun at the film and showing that Steven and George 'raped' a truly beloved film character.
B.) Poking fun at the fraction of fans that were whining that Steven, George and KOTCS 'raped' their childhood and making those people out to be big babies.

But what was the episode really saying? A or B? I really don't know and the content of the episode may be up to interpretation.

If this thread gets closed, I won't be suprised, as I'm racking up the amount fairly quickly.:dead:

I swear, I'm not trying to be a dick here, but I feel a merge coming on.

That episode was hilarious! Disturbing, but hilarious. I cracked up at Timah on the park bench.:D
I think they were basically saying they thought it was no good, South Park aren't "deep".

"200," 200th episode, April 14 2010
While on a school field trip to a fudge factory, Stan accidentally insults Tom Cruise again by calling him a "fudge packer". Cruise then recruits 200 other celebrities that have been ridiculed by the town of South Park to bring a class action lawsuit against the town. After being called to the principal's office, Stan returns to the factory with his dad try to apologize and convince Cruise to drop the suit. An angry Cruise agrees to do so, only if they can get help Cruise meet Muhammad. This causes an uproar, as the townsfolk fear that forcing the Prophet to appear in public will drive Muslim radicals to bomb the town. As Stan and Kyle go to the Super Best Friends for aid, it is revealed that Cruise and the other celebrities only want Muhammad for his "goo", which will make them immune to ridicule.

Don't think it's a Pulp Fiction reference per se.

This-er-um-lifestlye(?) was around long before Pulp Fiction.

Quite.

The flagship film for "the lifestyle" is a French masterpiece by Barbet Schroeder called Maitresse. Naturally, the lifestyle was around long before that, but the film helped bring it to a "mainstream" audience.

lol,I know. I said Pulp Fiction because the guy in the back looks like Travolta.

I think that's Rosie O' Donnel. If so, South Park nailed the look. She looks like a man.
