Really great to see those alternative bookends! To which episodes do alternative bookends exist? (I suppose they were in one of the original broadcasts?)

I'd say around 3/4 or the episodes had bookends, which all starred George Hall as Old Indiana Jones (Exceptions are the bookends for Mystery of the Blues starring Harrison Ford and the bookends for Travels with Father starring Sean Patrick Flanery). Except the Ford bookends they were all removed and replace by, sometimes terribly made, linking segments.

Bookends had:
Curse of the Jackal, London, British East Africa, Verdun, German East Africa, Congo, Austria, Somme, Germany, Barcelona, Mystery of the Blues (Ford and George Hall ones), Princeton, Petrograd, Scandal of 1920, Vienna, Northern Italy, Ireland, Paris (1908), Peking, Benares, Paris (1916), Florence, Transylvania and Travels with Father (Sean Patrick Flanery).

Are monster trucks even street legal?:p

Must have cost an arm and a leg to fill it up!

It's kind of funny to think that these people listening to Indy's stories have no real idea of the life he has had. It's kind of humbling in a way.

Imagine if he told them the tale of the Holy Grail! I can just imagine:

Old Indy is (yet again) in a hospital operating room. He witnesses a code blue, in which a person is brought back to life. Once one of the assistants finishes, he sets down next to Indy...

Old Indy: My, that was quite a rescue!

Assistant: (out of breath) Th-thank you sir.

Old Indy: You do this all the time?

Assistant: It's my first day.

Old Indy nods his head.

Old Indy: You know, this reminds me of something from my younger years. (tilts head back) Yes... 1938. I had just returned home from a bit of busness on the Portuguese Coast. A couple of guys tracked me down, told me my father was missing...

One hour later. Indy is just finishing his story, and the assistant has an astonished, slightly amused look on his face.

Old Indy: So the Grail saved my father, and for a moment, the both of us were to live forever... (sad look) an old man's dream.

Assistant: (skeptical look) Haha. OK, well, we could certainly use something like that here. Look, I gotta be going. Nice talking to ya old timer.

Indy shakes his head.

I came up with some ideas for episode titles with: "Indiana Jones and the..." Added more action packed names since Indiana Jones and the Travels with Father doesn't exactly provoke the imagination. Left the good ones.
(I didn't add "Young" to the title, because it's not like the movies are: "Old Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull".)

Curse of the Jackal as a whole: Indiana Jones and the Curse of the Jackal (obviously)
Egypt, 1908: Indiana Jones and the Murderer in the Crypt
Tangiers, "1908": Indiana Jones and the Slaves of the Desert
British East Africa: Indiana Jones and the Search for the Antelope
Paris: Indiana Jones and the Burgeoning Artist
Vienna: Indiana Jones and the Hidden Princess
Florence: Indiana Jones and the Love Crazed Artist
Russia: Indiana Jones and the Mysterious Traveler
Athens: Indiana Jones and the Clifftop Monastery
Benares: (Haven't Seen)
Beijing: Indiana Jones and the Deep Sickness
Princeton: Indiana Jones and the Hunt for the Stolen Plans
Mexico: Indiana Jones and the War of the Mexican Guerillas
Ireland: Indiana Jones and the Irish Rebellion
England: Indiana Jones and the Newfound Love
Somme: Indiana Jones and the Trenches of Hell
Germany: Indiana Jones and the Break for Freedom
Verdun: (Haven't Seen)
Paris: Indiana Jones and the Mata Hari Affair
German East Africa: Indiana Jones and the Phantom Train of Doom
British East Africa: Indiana Jones and the Trek Through Death
Congo: Indiana Jones and the Life Giver
Ravanelle: Indiana Jones and the Flight from the Red Baron
Alhorn: Indiana Jones and the Flying Beast
Austria: Indiana Jones and the Smuggle Across the Border
Russia: Indiana Jones and the Communist Uprising
Barcelona: (Haven't Seen)
Prague: (Haven't Seen)
Palestine: Indiana Jones and the Daredevils of the Desert
Italy: Indiana Jones and the Love of Another
Morocco: Indiana Jones and the Death in the Palace
Transylvania: Indiana Jones and the Ageless Killer
Istanbul: (Haven't Seen)
Peacock's Eye (Together): Indiana Jones and the Treasure of the Peacock's Eye
London/Egypt: Indiana Jones and the Quest for the Ancient Treasure
South Pacific: Indiana Jones and the Pirate Mistress or Indiana Jones and the Primitive Isle
Paris: (Haven't Seen)
Princeton:(Haven't Seen)
Chicago: Indiana Jones and the Mystery of the Blues
New York: (Haven't Seen)
Hollywood: Indiana Jones and the Mad Genius

Interesting titles. Even though, it's not exactly on-topic, I thought I'm gonna post the translated titles of the episodes in Germany here, since they were officially given titles there:

Curse of the Jackal -Indiana Jones and the Curse of the Mummy
London- Indiana Jones and the Battle of Women
British East Africa- Indiana Jones and the Shots in the Garden of Eden (refers to a quote by Old Indy in the bookends)
Verdun- Indiana Jones and the Fields of Death
German East Africa- Indiana Jones and the River of Death
Congo- Indiana Jones and the Jungledoctor
Somme- Indiana Jones and the Battle of Somme
Germany- Indiana Jones and the Break-out King
Barcelona- Indiana Jones and the Eunuch of Barcelona
Mystery of the Blues- Indiana Jones and the Al Capone Blues
Princeton- Indiana Jones and the Dreamcar
Petrograd- Indiana Jones and the Birthday in St. Petersburg
Scandal of 1920- Scandal of 1920
Vienna- Indiana Jones and the Princess on the Ice
Phantom Train of Doom- Phantom Train of Doom
Ireland- Indiana Jones and the Easter Rebellion
Paris- Indiana Jones and the forged Master
Peking- Indiana Jones and the Needles of Dr. Wen Chiu
Benares- Indiana Jones and the Teachings of Krishnamurti
Paris- Indiana Jones and Mata Hari
Istanbul- Indiana Jones and the Wolf of Istanbul
Paris- Indiana Jones and the bitter Victory
Florence- Indiana Jones and the Foridden Feelings
Prague- Indiana Jones: This number is out of service
Palestine- Indiana Jones and the Wells of Bersheeba
Transylvania- Indiana Jones and the Lord of Darkness
Hollywood- Indiana Jones and the Intrigues in Hollywood
Egypt/Java- Indiana Jones and the Treasure of the King
Red Baron- Indiana Jones and the Attack of the Red Baron.
Russia/Athens- Indiana Jones and the Travels with Father

I know that some episodes are missing but those were either to hard to translate or they were simply never aired.

That was very good,Adam.I could just picture Hall saying those lines too!

Now do the other two movies!:p ;)
Yes, Adam, that was great. You really captured the tone! I especially liked the "tilts head back" detail.
Bookends for the films...very interesting concept. (I wonder if I could make one from all the Old Indy footage...)
Please, have a go at the other 2 movies. In a few weeks you can do Indy 4, too!:D

Old Indy bookends for the movies would be a fun fan film project. I think a good idea would be to set the bookends in the same year the film came out. That way, you don't have to have an exact match for Harrison Ford or George Hall...
