My my, Indy Byrd. You've been a busy bee. When can we see some pics?
Just as soon as I can get some taken of my gear,I will be sure to post them up. The bag may not be 100% accurate (as I made it myself) but it has plenty of room for everything I need on an adventure. I also just got a Cabela's safari shirt in Stone color and it feels great. I will also post pics of my props I got too. I have a Geneva Roth Idol and Costumebase's Headpiece and a "natural" looking Sankara Stone I found in a cave not too long ago.
I'm really annoyed how bullwhip prices have shot up since KOTCS was released. A Indy-on-a-Budget whip used to only be $100, now it's $160! I really want one of those but I've got a really tight budget.
Also, is there anyplace you can get a Dorfman Pacific fur felt fedora for less than $100?
Hi everyone. I know I should get a Federation or Christy's Adventurer, but I just don't have the cash to spend $100 or more on a fedora. I'm going to get one of the crushable wool felt Indy hats from the official site, because close enough is good enough for me on my budget. My question is, does anyone have the outback model? To me, the shape that it has looks more like the hat from the movies than the shape of the regular crushable ones, and I'm just wondering if the pictures I've seen are deceiving or not.
Can anyone help answer this? I like the fact that the outback is waterproof, but if the shape is not as close as it appears on the site, I'll get a regular official crushable fedora off Ebay which has been waterproofed already by the seller. Thanks in advance for any help you can give!

For what it's worth, I have several original MK VIIs and several of the Magnoli reproduction bags. The repro comes out a different color (more khaki than green) but is an excellent reproduction and well worth the shipping from New Zealand. I find Magnoli's bags (as with all of his items) to be great quality and just as tough and good looking as the original. Something I cannot say for some of the other repros I've gotten.
Bag strap solution:
I have recently begun producing bag straps and whip holders myself. Here is a comparison of my strap and Todd's Costume:
Photos of the whip holders and belts coming soon. (sold all my inventory already, new shipment arrives next week)
