Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back!

If I had to choose between death by firing squad and watching that piece of junk again I'd be hard pressed to choose. :dead:

Running on Empty was a pretty dumb movie.

But for TV series... whoo! The absolute DUMBEST TV series I have ever seen was the third season of Lost in Space.

I just saw the movie Alexander, the 3 hour director's cut... I was expecting a cross between Braveheart and Gladiator, but instead got to see Collin Farrel bang, like 3 dudes. Not even a shot of Rosario Dawson's fun bags could save this suedo gay porn from being one of the dumbest movies I have ever seen.

All of the Rocky movies. Did anybody ever notice that in the first movie the man can hardly speak, and by the third movie he's using large words.

Also, Ghostbusters 2 sucked and how about Titanic...

I don't know.. what was so bad about GB2? I mean, sure the first one was a lot better, but the second wasn't that bad...

I wouldn't waste my time watching that movie a 2nd time, let alone a 3rd!

I'd rather have to chew my own bung....

"Braveheart"

Was HORRIBLE! Especially considering it was marketed as The 'REAL' History of William Wallace... And it wasn't even CLOSE... It was an affront to his memory... a crappy 'cashing-in-on-culture' by a money grubbing low talent hack trying to make a name for himself with spectacle... It's all smoke and no fire... there's ZERO substance to any single frame of the film... I'm surprised that Wallace himself didn't rise up outa the ground and rodger Mel Gibson all over the fields where they filmed this atrocity... Thank the gods that Ridley Scott came along with Gladiator and cleared the awful taste that Brave-Fart left in my mouth...

Braveheart is one of my favorite films, and it's story is very inspiring. I have never met a strait man who did'nt like this movie. Bet you would like to see Wallace and Mel makin' sweet love in a green feild by a babbeling brook, wouldn't ya princess? ;)
Nobody knows the complete "REAL" story of William Wallace, not even you Sally. The main events in the film and the basic story are based on oral stories of the legendary Scot. A 14th century bard named Blind Hary first wrote his version of the story that he got from Wallace's scribe. And it is infact a pretty good rendition of Wallace as a legendary, historical figure -and the people of Scotland loved it. In Braveheart, William Wallace is presented as a kind of Scottish Nationalist super hero. In this respect, the movie was indeed accurate about the role the myth of Wallace played in history.

Wow with so many stinkers, Howard the Duck pops into my head, maybe Legend, Working Girl . . . God so many bad movies so little time, but for the record

Ghost Busters 2 was almost as bad as Caddyshak 2 or Blues Brothers 2 or 2000 whatever they called that stinker, why when a perfect movies is made do people feel the need to follow up with crap . . .

Are you listening George!

Okay, how about this for a twist: what movies do you like that you should hate or were considered failures?

Well, when I see all of the negative comments up there about Ghost Busters 2, I guess that counts.. because I still liked it.

Interesting twist. If we're talking terribly guilty pleasures, I would have to pick a lesser known (with good reason) fantasy flick entitled Hawk the Slayer. One of those movies that Jack Palance, who plays the villain ("Voltan" - yes, I'm serious), probably hoped would be completely forgotten. It's so horrifically bad it's entertaining. A rather amusing review of it can be found here.

My guilty pleasure would have to be Super Mario Brothers. Yes, the movie was nothing like the video games and it was kind of cheesy in parts but if you watch it without any expectations and just enjoy it for what it is, it's really a pretty fun action/adventure movie. :)
