PHONE-CALL 1:
'...I just got off the phone with a studio source who told me that Linda Hamilton has just signed on for (up to) a three-picture deal to reprise her role as Sarah Connor in flashbacks. This is excellent news for those of us who would have otherwise missed her girl-next-door-turned-badass presence in the next Terminator outing.'

PHONE-CALL 2:
'...I?ve since spoken to a representative for Hamilton who claims that they haven?t heard about this, which obviously puts a damper on this story. The rep said ?I can tell you that Linda is a big fan of T1 and T2 and would be very interested in hearing about participating in the new film? but beyond that claimed not to know anything about it. Sheesh. Sometimes I feel like Hollywood was built on smoke & mirrors.'

One of LR's sources is telling them that Kickinger will, essentially, do the grunt work as the T-800 - but Arnold's face will be digitally mapped over Roland's, and dialogue snippets from Arnold will be incorporated via ADR. As supporting evidence, LR's source sent in a picture purporting to show the on-set meeting of Schwarzenegger and Christian Bale.

We wrapped principal photography. Now we're heavy into post. I've already shown early cuts to Christian and Sam. They seem pleased with where the film is headed. Our focus is on story and character, but it's fun diving into the world of visual effects.

Charlie Gibson is aware of his responsibility as the VFX supervisor and second unit director of this film. He works with ILM and Asylum every day and makes revisions to the finest detail. We want the patina of the machines to be dirty and heavy and perfectly realistic - that's why we built so much practically with Stan Winston. But at some point the effects kick in and like any Terminator fan, Charlie wants his mind blown. There's one sequence in particular where we're trying to achieve something that's never been done before. I don't want to talk about it because we haven't been successful yet...

The only other thing that could've made me more excited for this movie would be another trailer. "Come with me if you want to live! :D :D :D
