Valley of the Golden Mummies

Has anyone been watching this on the Discovery Channel this week. Along with original specials like one about the death of Cleopatra, they've been broadcasting live via satellite from Egypt, for "Egypt Week," as they show the excavation process of the Vallay of the Golden Mummies.

They also have an archive of clips from the progams, and the excavation:

If you get a chance, do yourself a favor and watch--they're uncovering some really interesting stuff.

I saw one episode and parts of another.

For some reason, I just can't get into how they are just going through the tombs with little or no respect for them and sensationalizing their findings for the TV audience.

It is an important find but they are just bulldozing their way through the mazes for the sake of TV.
