Meto Indy's Friend From the Maasai People

Meto was Indy's friend from in the British East Africa,September 1909 episode.I personally hope he would meet Indy again in a future Indy movie,because they were such good friends when they were younger.

It would be interesting to have him make an appearance in a novel or comic. Indy could have bumped into him while he was in Africa during WW1. Even though the campaigns in East Africa at that time were not as large as they were in Europe, there's the possibilty that he became an askari (soldier) like Barthelemy and was killed during battle.

Then again, maybe they only met once. I like Meto and the friendship he shared with Indy, however it could be one fo those cases where someone touches your life in a memorable way but because lives take different paths, you never see or hear from them again.

Mentioning Meto brings up ANOTHER potential link to Young Indy in "Crystal Skull"! Indy gave him Teddy Roosevelt's binoculars but NOT the case. According to DK's "Ultimate Guide", the case is in the classroom scene. (It can't be seen very well but it's there.)
